Taamey Culmus

This section contains fonts with support for cantillation marks (Taamim) positioning.

Taamey Frank CLM

Adaptation of the classical Frank Ruehl Hebrew font. Glyph spacing and line spacing are wider then usual so as to leave space for all marks. The font family contains Medium, Medium Oblique, Bold and Bold Oblique variants. In the Bold variants the cantillation marks are transparent.

This font is unmaintained, and it has been superseded by Taamey D (improved positioning algorithm of cantillation marks by Benjamin Denckla).

Taamey Ashkenaz

Inspired by the type faces used to print the Hebrew Bible during the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century, in particular by BHK (Biblia Hebraica Kittel). All variants of this font support Cantillation marks positioning. The Bold font is the one that most resembles the original. The Medium variant is much more lightweight and therefore has a more modern look.
